andrew + kristen

lynden

I have known Andrew for quite sometime now. We went to college together and I had the pleasure of meeting Kristen during that time as well. I was very honored when they had asked me to photograph their wedding. Throughout this process, I have gotten closer with them and gotten to know them better. For their engagement session, I took them to one of my favorite places in Washington.. Diablo Lake, North Cascades.

As you can see, they are very photogenic and such a beautiful couple together. Not only that, they were very fun to be around. Their wedding in Lynden, Washington, was supposed to be an outdoor wedding. Due to the weather, it got moved inside. But, as positive thinking as they are, they day was fun nonetheless. It ended up to be in this beautiful barn that was decorated the night before by Kristen's parents and grandparents. You can find a photo of Kristen seeing the decorated barn for the first time, and it brought her to tears. Ultimately, what mattered most was the fact that Andrew and Kristen were going to be married to each other at the end of the day.

This was day was super fun and beautiful to photograph. Here are a few of my favorite moments from that day.

This was supposed to be an outdoor wedding. Due to heavy rain that day and the day before, it had to be moved indoors. Kristen's dad and grandma stayed up all night fixing up the barn and made sure it was ready for the wedding day. This was the first time Kristen saw the barn. All the feels.
