To me photography is all about telling stories through images.
When it comes to photographing weddings, the most important thing for me to do as a photographer is to create a safe space for couples to express themselves freely. I never tell my couple to pose or kiss or embrace each other a certain way, I give them cues and prompts to bring out their personalities, which ultimately leads them to embrace each other in a way that’s most natural to them. This skill didn’t come naturally though - it came from careful practice, learning, and experience.
When it comes to commercial and brand photography, I learn as much as I can about the brand or project. I love being able to tell the brand’s story in a series of images, conveying unique colors, emotions, and perspectives. Nothing is more important to me than making a client’s experience memorable and easygoing.

Teaching is a subject that brings me joy. As a matter of fact, I even studied in college to become a teacher. I love sharing my knowledge and experience, and learning from other people’s journeys as well. Photography is a subject that is an endless pursuit of knowledge, which means you can both be a teacher AND a student at the very same time.
Because of this, I want to share with you opportunities to learn about photography and how to develop your own personal style that you can be proud of.
I’ve taken my fair share of online courses, in-person workshops, and sat down with some photographers I look up to. I believe it’s important to invest this kind of time and money back in your business. Education is a powerful tool that keeps building and growing, years after any course or meeting. We all view photography differently and that is what makes it powerful and unique.
Here are some resources below we recommend, to help you start finding your voice and building your brand through photography.
